Responsibilities:
- Assist attorney in managing legal cases and projects - Prepare legal documents, such as contracts and pleadings - Prepare correspondence - Maintain and organize legal files and documents - Coordinate and schedule meetings and hearings - Perform data entry and maintain accurate records - Answer phone calls and handle inquiries with professionalism and courtesy Paralegal Skills:
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks - Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in work - Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook - Knowledge of legal administrative procedures and practices - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Familiarity with legal drafting techniques and terminology - Efficient in data entry with a high level of accuracy - Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills Note:
Experience as a paralegal/legal assistant or relevant legal education is required for this position.
Experience in probate and guardianship law preferred.
Experience with ProDoc and/or TXDocs preferred.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
